Welcome to the second ever blog post on TheJonHarder.com. I know on my Xanga page I only really posted the majority of my columns, every Hardway podcast, and maybe one or straggly thoughts, but now with my own official domain and me actually having an opportunity to make an impact, I will be updating this blog much more.
Quite frankly, I will not lie when I say that my original concept for TheJonHarder.com was to simply make an online home for the Hardway. My original opinion was that it makes not only my podcast look more professional, but me as well. I mean, I am the man who is “the Voice of Professionalism”. So when I started to take those lengths, I looked at the big picture. I am a columnist, a wrestling manager, a podcaster, a personality, a beautiful man, a jack-of-all-trades in the realm of independent wrestling. Day-by-day, minute-by-minute, it all started to sink in; ultimately, I realized that this should be for everything. When I mean everything, I mean EVERYTHING.
TheJonHarder.com will be a different type of wrestling website. TheJonHarder.com will be used for exclusive news with not only myself but the entire world of independent wrestling. TheJonHarder.com will have both audio with The Hardway Podcast and video clips. TheJonHarder.com will be for special write-ups. Most of all, TheJonHarder.com will be for wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike.
I noticed on the Hardway Podcast, I began to discuss the #stopthescumbags campaign on Twitter with the way some independent wrestling promoters use wrestlers and staff and refuse to either pay the talent who laid their lives on the line for them or just how certain promoters try to ruin the business for others. After a long thought process and talking to a few people, this will be the forum for wrestlers to speak their minds. Within the next week or so, I will be working on some specific things for TheJonHarder.com so that wrestlers who have stories or have been treated unfair will let their voice be heard. #stopthescumbags is going to be attempted here on this page and hopefully, this will be an innovative idea.
Also, I would love to have some non-wrestling content as well. Obviously, I want to show that I have more depth than just wrestling (which I swear I do have) and have a specific area to talk about all things in life.
TheJonHarder.com will be a different ride for those to take. It’s a huge risk, but to make it in this world, risks are not only necessary; it’s a way of life. Come along for the ride, just buckle yourself in.
